175th Celebration Weekend History Presentation - October 27, 2023
The Tau Chapter 175th anniversary celebration weekend kicked off on Friday afternoon, October 27, with a history panel discussion co-led by Beta Theta Pi national archivist and historian, Zac Haines Miami ’05, and Jon Myers ’81, Tau Chapter archivist. The presentation featured a discussion of the fraternity’s founders at both the national level and with respect to Tau Chapter. Undergraduates and alumni members enjoyed viewing several historic Beta pins from the national archives and brother Haines particularly enjoyed receiving signed copies of the two volumes of Beta Theta Pi at Wabash College, which had recently been updated and republished to cover the chapter’s history from 1846 to 2021.
